2018 Rodeo Team

Here is what you need to know to get started and what Rodeo Team requires:

  • You must OWN or FULL lease a horse for at least two months before rodeo season starts, and during rodeo season.

  • Rodeo weekends you plan to participate in, you must be present the whole weekend Friday - Sunday. If you have to leave you have to make arrangements to have your horse(s) taken care of. 

  • Plan to be at rodeo grounds Friday morning or early afternoon to set up for that weekend. 

  • Rodeo Team Fees: (ALL Rodeo Fees are due before rodeo season starts)

    • Trainer Fee - $15 per day

    • Haul Fee - $50-$70 per rodeo (includes panels)

  • We encourage our team members to get individual sponsors or to fundraiser for their rodeo fees for the season.

We as a team participate in Northwest Youth Rodeo Association (NYRA) and we are going to also compete in Central Oregon Pee Wee Rodeo Association (COPWA) and local playdays.

Rodeo 2018 Dates:

  • St Paul – June 1st, 2nd and 3rd 

  • Canyonville – June 15th, 16th and 17th 

  • Canby – July 20th, 21st and 22nd

  • Cottage Grove – August 3rd, 4th and 5th

  • Philomath – August 17th, 18th and 19th

2018 Fees:

  • Membership Fee: $75 for an individual or $105 for a family 

  • Awards Fee: $80 

  • Each Rodeo will have Entry Fees for the events your are participating in

  • April 28 & 29 = ENTRIES DUE April 13th

  • May 12 & 13 = Entries due April 20th

  • June 2 & 3 = May 18th

  • July 28 & 29 = July 15th

  • Awards Banquet Saturday, October 13, 2018

2018 Fees:

  • Membership Fee: $135 per family + $5 per contestant

  • Each rodeo will have entry fees for the events you are participating in
